On Sunday the 2010 British Curry Awards are happening in London’s Grosvenor House Hotel and Curry Houses right across country are hoping to take home one of the 9 ‘Best Spice Restaurant’ Awards up for grabs! A separate award in the ‘Curry Oscars’ will be given for Newcomer of the Year. And to celebrate - our primo presenters in the live studio at Bingolore are having a CURRY HOUR kicking off at 7pm – so to spice up YOUR Sunday – join the gang for hot entertainment including quizzes and chat games all with a spicy theme for curry hour 7-8.

A Gallup poll recently reported that curry is Britain’s favourite food, with more than a quarter of us eating it once a week and, as The 9 “Best Spice Restaurant” awards will be made regionally, it’s very possible that your favourite restaurant made it to the short list!   

Comedian Justin Lee Collins will host this year’s awards ceremony, which will be attended by celebrities including Chris Tarrant, Gary Rhodes, Heston Blumenthal, Ken Livingstone, Eamonn Holmes and James Whale.

Superbooks is returning to Bingolore during the 7-8pm games and the 10-11pm games from the 16th-18th Nov. Superbooks allow you to upgrade your tickets so that you can either play for free, pay for all your tickets or choose a mixture of both. On Monday 12th July we’ll be supporting Marie Curie, a charity that has a very personal significance for Ian, one of our Bingo Studio Live presenters as well as for many of our players, Ian will be live as a guest CM in Room 2 between 7-9pm to talk about his fundraising efforts for Marie Curie and we hope to donate as much as possible to this fantastic charity.
