Our Charity of the Month Is the Grace House North East Children’s Hospice Appeal. The charity is named after ten-year-old Grace Jones who has a mystery illness that has left her disabled and unable to speak, Grace House North East Children’s Hospice Appeal is raising funds to build, equip and run a hospice especially for children. The planned hospice is in a part of the country that has the lowest number of beds available and it will provide a place where children like Grace and their families can turn for medical help and emotional support – all for free.

The appeal has, to date, raised £2 million but another 1.5 million is needed to complete the project and run it for one year and currently the Government does not give funding for children’s hospices.

If you can, please join us at Bingolore on Monday 16^th November in Room 2 and help us raise money for this much needed facility.
