The festival opens with the world premiere of the Roald Dahl “Fantastic Mr Fox” – lovely George Clooney voices the title character and is rumoured to be attending the first showing of the Wes Anderson adaptation.
From this year, the London Film festival will take on new importance in the world of movies as the festival is introducing a best-picture award, hoping to be a ‘must attend event’ alongside prize-giving festivals Toronto or Sundance. Among the stars lined up to attend are Clooney, Meryl Streep, Bill Murray, Julianne Moore and Emma Thompson.

Every 11 minutes someone is diagnosed with breast cancer in the UK. Breast cancer remains the most common cancer in the UK with nearly 46,000 people diagnosed every year. So let’s think pink this month – especially on Monday 12th October when the Bingolore.com charity of the month is Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
