STAR WARS DAY! - May the 4th be with you!
The Spring Bank Holiday falls on Monday 4th May this year –
According to Wikipedia - (Wookiepedia?) - “May 4 is often known as “Star Wars Day”. It is jokingly said: “May the 4th be with you”, in reference to the popular phrase in Star Wars: “May the Force be with you…” (this is 100% real! Check it out at http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Main_Page); so, for all you Star Wars fans out there, join us on May 4th to celebrate not only the spring bank holiday but STAR WARS DAY too - with the chance to win the original STAR WARS Trilogy on DVD and the Prequel Trilogy as well. Throughout the day we will also be giving away 6 pairs of cinema tickets in our chat room quiz and the Star Wars special prize will go to the full house winner of the 9pm game in Room 2.
Wikipedia says typical Star Wars Day festivities include fellow Star Wars-obsessed friends being invited to party the night away whilst watching all the films in the whole series right through! Party invitees bring Star Wars memorabilia and dress up for the occasion – Light-saber fights in the early morning hours optional are optional!”
